GapOnly – Pet insurance payment service

GapOnly® is available at Totally Vets!

We’re excited to offer GapOnly®, a payment service that works with selected pet insurance brands. This means you can access your pet insurance benefit on-the spot for eligible claims, making your visit simpler and less stressful.

Rather than paying us the full invoice upfront and waiting to be reimbursed, we submit your claim on the spot, on your behalf, while you’re at the clinic.

Your claim is generally assessed in around 5-10 minutes, and if approved, you just pay us the gap – the difference between the invoice and the eligible claim benefit under your pet insurance policy.

How to claim using GapOnly®:

  1. If you have a GapOnly® ready policy, let our team know you’d like to submit a GapOnly® claim for your pet’s treatment.
  2. We’ll lodge the claim on your behalf, and it’s usually assessed in just 5-10 minutes.
  3. Once the claim is approved, you simply pay the gap (the difference between the vet’s invoice and your eligible claim benefit) and you’re done!

GapOnly® Service Hours:

Monday – Saturday: 10:00am – 12:00am
NZT / NZDT as applicable, excluding Christmas, New Year, and Easter Weekend.

For any questions about GapOnly®, please contact our team or visit gaponly.co.nz
