Remote Consultations (Vet to Vet Service)
Remote consultations are recommended for surgical cases. This service allows us to:
- Provide treatment options and cost estimates
- Offer interim case management advice
- In many cases, schedule the patient directly for surgery once a plan is confirmed
Remote consults are typically completed within 7 days, or sooner in emergencies.
A remote consultation includes:
- Full review of clinical history and submitted images
- A detailed report for the referring veterinarian
- A client summary for the owner (We recommend the referring clinic forward this summary directly to their client.)
Urgent Cases
For urgent cases, please submit a remote consultation so Petra can review and manage the case sooner, rather than waiting for an in‑person consult and case management.
She can then advise whether surgery or an in‑person appointment is needed following that.
Booking Timeframes
Please note we are currently booking two weeks in advance. However, we do run a cancellation waitlist.
